Sober is as sober does

As everyone who has spent any time around me lately knows, I'm not drinking anymore after my DUI. I don't know when I will drink again, I know I miss it. I am not drinking again until the state tells me it's ok.

I have an interview lined up with Microsoft this week. I am unsure what to think. On one hand the last thing in the world I want is a job, but I realize that my unemployment will run out and if I don't have something by then I will be screwed. On the other hand I really want to start working on the road doing comedy, but I don't have any dates lined up for that until this fall.

I just want to get to the point where I can make a living dong comedy and not have to work in a cubicle somewhere doing work I could give a flying fuck about. Work like that deadens your soul NO ONE really wants to do that kind of mind numbing work. Not me not you not anyone, fuck work.

I am sitting here putting together a 30 minute act, in case the opportunity comes up. Which it has twice in the last week. There is a show tomorrow in Wenatchee but I'm not going to do it because of my interview.

I will be making a living at comedy in some way within the next year. I hope to retire from the illustrious career of Tech support for grandma and people unwilling to read directions within a few years god willing.

Ok what is the actual news. I made a tape over the weekend. I am copying it VCR tape today and sending it to David Tribble and Pat Wilson tomorrow. It was the only recording that came out from my time this weekend. It is not great but it will work. Some things have changed I think everyone should be aware of, from this point if you want the full "Enforcer" you gotta pay. I will go up and talk but unless there is some money laid at my awkward feet no full meal deal.

Touch my bacon strips,

The Enforcer
