The bad news

I have been all hearts and hugs about this competition but I have to get this off my chest. There is a huge fucking hack in this competition. He killed last night, and it hurt my soul a little to see it. This guy is just a son of a bitch. I took a picture of him on stage last night, I hope I don't offend anyone by posting his picture but frankly ....fuck him

Well the first night of competition is in the bag. Everyone I met that is competing thus far is just freaking great. Super nice people.

That said I hope all of them die so I can win by forfeit. A win is a win.

My set went pretty well. Tonights show is in Kent at the Moonraker where I've heard it is a great room.

Kick ass. The results of last night will be posted at the comedy underground website so there is no need for me to post them.

Four weddings and a funeral minus four weddings

I went to my Uncle's funeral this weekend. I did the eulogy and I think it went well. Well shit all modesty the thing went really well, if the out pouring of emotion I received after it was any indication. I was very worried about it, I mean how do you summarize a man you loved in 6 minutes. How do you honor someone who has done so much for you. I was very proud of myself, I rose to the challenge and I think my uncle would be very proud of me.

I spent time with my uncles kids whom I haven't seen in 20 years and we just fell in love all over again. In the words of my younger cousing Stacey "How do you love someone so much who you haven't seen in 20 years". I don't know but it is genetic because I think I found a couple of girls that will be like my younger sisters much like the fact that their dad was my big brother. I am so proud of what beautiful smart funny young women they turned out to be. From death came this so thank you again Terry.

A couple of funny things I found out about my uncles death (if you have a dark sense of humor). My uncle who found my uncle told me he was pretty creeped out so he used a rake to poke him to see if he was dead. Also I found out what my uncles did first was go in and take every evidence of porn from him room and harddrive. This is an agreement between myself and all my uncles. It was nice to hear that they lived up to their end of the bargain.

I start the competition this week, I haven't had one opportunity to do my act as it sits right now. I am going to just wing it. Oh well. It's just a fucking competition. I will have to be a little loose the first two nights.
